Dungeons and Dragons podcasts like Critical Role and The Adventure Zone have gained popularity over the last few years. But every so often there’s a new podcast that jumps on board with an amazing cast and remarkable storytelling.
Recently I was introduced to a new podcast, and it has slowly become a new favorite of mine. Realms Apart is a brand-new D&D podcast that just launched a month ago, and it’s really awesome.
So the Cast and DM are comprised of eight friends from across the world. Everyone is based somewhere different, and that’s one of the major things that makes this podcast so enjoyable.

What Makes Realms Apart Special
There’s always something that makes D&D podcasts special. For The Adventure Zone, it’s the McElroy’s and them being family. With Critical Role, they’re all voice actors.
With Realms Apart, it’s the mix of the retelling of the beginnings of their campaign, and everyone being friends and their complex, interesting, and mysterious characters.
