What an ingenious idea. A beach or section of land that ages the people on it, way faster than normal. Of course, it’s coming from M. Night Shyamalan, so expect some twists and turns throughout. Hopefully the trailer didn’t give too much of this story away. Old stars Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Embeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Emun Elliott, Kathleen Chalfant, and Thomasin McKenzie.
The thriller is directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan. It’s based on the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Levy and Frederik Peeters. You’ll have to wait a bit, until this summer to see exactly what happens. Old releases in theaters on July 23rd, 2021.
