Barbie Tribute Collection celebrates Its First Doll With Lucille Ball

Mattel has revealed their new Barbie Doll line, the Barbie Tribute Collection. The Barbie Tribute Collection celebrates those that contributions helped shape and impact things for a better today. The first doll in this lineup will be Lucille Ball. The Lucille Ball Barbie Tribute Collection Barbie Doll will be available this September and is available now to pre-order for $39.99 at Entertainment Earth, Target, and other retailers. The Barbie Tribute Collection celebrates visionaries whose incredible contributions have helped shape and impact culture. Lucille Ball was an American TV actress whose comedic genius and incredible business acumen cemented her as a television icon and a trailblazer for women in entertainment. After producing and starring in I Love Lucy in 1951, she went on to become the first woman to own a major studio after obtaining ownership of Desilu Productions in 1962.

Ball was a certified legend after being inducted into the TV Hall of Fame in 1984, and the world would love Lucy for years to come. Barbie honors her legacy with Lucille Ball Barbie doll, dressed in a dazzling blue dress and white lace jacket, reminiscent of the ‘50s fashion era. Her look is complete with silver heels, “pearl” drop earrings, and her signature aquamarine engagement ring. Lucille Ball Barbie doll features beautiful, displayable packaging and makes a great gift for collectors. Also Includes doll stand and Certificate of Authenticity.

This doll is apart of the Black Label Collection. This collection includes some of Barbie Signature’s most sensational dolls designed for the adult collector like the Inspiring Women series, Day of the Dead, and more! Also, Black Label dolls do not have a set edition size.
