Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker arrives in theaters on December 20th, 2019. While we have most of the characters from The Last Jedi returning, there is one particular character that will not be appear in the final film in the Skywalker Saga.
We know that from The Last Jedi that Finn and Captain Phasma battled aboard Snoke’s dying command ship. And at the end of that fight, Phasma falls into the flaming wreckage, and we’re to assume that she is dead. During the Star Wars: Episode IX panel at Star Wars Celebration, John Boyega did confirm that Phasma is dead and not coming back.
While we might not have Phasma in the film, we will still have in TV on Star Wars Resistance, which will be returning later this year on both Disney Channel and Disney XD.
