Brothers turn enemies. Creed III is all about the relationship between Damian and Adonis Creed. The two former friends in their youth go at it in the ring for more than just a championship belt. The final trailer before Creed III releases in theaters on March 3rd, 2023 shows off plenty of action between the two titans.
Michael B. Jordan stars in and directs Creed III. He’s joined by Jonathan Majors, Tessa Thompson, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad. The script was written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin with a story from Ryan Coogler.
In case you need a refresher, the Creed series is about Apollo Creed’s son, Adonis. It shows how he moves up and overcomes everything in the boxing world. However, in Creed III, his biggest challenge awaits. A personal, dangerous fight with his former brother/friend Damian. Here’s the official synopsis.
After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When childhood friend and former boxing prodigy Damian (Jonathan Majors) resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian–a fighter who has nothing to lose.
