Peacemaker was one of the runaway favorites from James Gunn‘s Suicide Squad. Even before that movie came out, we were treated to news that the character was getting his own HBO Max series. We have our first look at the show fresh from DC FanDome! Check out the trailer starring John Cena below!
Peacemaker also stars Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Christopher Heyerdahl, Jennifer Holland, Chukwudi Iwuji, Nhut Le, Robert Patrick, and Freddie Stroma. It premieres on HBO Max, January 13th, 2022.
The show follows the events after Suicide Squad. If you haven’t seen that film yet, it might be time to check it out before this show releases on HBO Max.
The show looks absolutely awesome and is sure to please fans of Gunn and DC.
