Disney‘s latest upcoming animated film Wish looks like it’s going to be one of their better films yet. Or at the very least, one of their biggest. Thus, you can fully understand why Disney would want to hype this film up so much. And what better way to hype it up than with a teaser video featuring the new song the villain, King Magnifico, will sing for this film? You haven’t heard it yet? Why, then you can give that song a listen to below, and see if it strikes your interest yourself.

Wish: “This Is The Thanks I Get?!” Details

You can clearly tell this guy has a bit of an ego problem.

Disney is proud to hype up Wish with a new music video for “This Is The Thanks I Get?!” on YouTube. This is the feature song of King Magnifico (voiced and sung by Chris Pine) in that upcoming animated musical fantasy film. With music by Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice, and with lyrics by that Julia Michaels as well, this villain song really shows off the personality of his highness Magnifico. As you can tell by the title of that song, his personality seems to be ego and nothing but. In fact, it perfectly complements the behind-the-scenes video Disney released for this song the day before.

Amazing. Chris Pine looks like he even styled his hair to look like King Magnifico.

Does this build up the hype for you for this Disney film? Well, you don’t have to wait for much longer. Wish will make its theatrical debut on November 22, 2023. You can purchase tickets at Fandango. However, if you like the music of the film, then you can also preorder the music CD here or the vinyl record here. Both will become available on November 17, 2023; when the Wish Original Motion Picture Soundtrack from Walt Disney Records will make its debut.
