Earlier tonight Jon Favreau tweeted the new teaser and poster to his upcoming hit The Lion King. The spot is called “Long live the King” and we get to see the young king in all his newborn glory. The spot looks shot for shot as the original animated masterpiece. Check out the spot and all new poster below.
The movie opens July 19, 2019 directed by Jon Favreau starring Donald Glover as Simba, Seth Rogan as Pumbaa, Keegan-Michael Key as Kamari, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Bill Eichner as Timon, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, John Kani as Rafiki, with James Earl Jones as Mufasa.
