We’re over 15 years past the release of Grindhouse and the fake trailers that were in that movie. Now, one of the last trailers from that movie is finally an actual movie. We had Machete, Hobo With A Shotgun, and now we’re getting Thanksgiving this November. The Eli Roth-directed movie hits theaters on November 17th, 2023. Check out the teaser trailer for the movie based on another trailer below.

For those looking for the more grimy Grindhouse look of the original trailer, you might be disappointed to see that this is a more shiny, pretty-looking movie. However, there’s still some awesome looking kills and imagery here. Also, because it’s Eli Roth, you know it’s going to be a bloodbath of some sort.

Thanksgiving will be released in theaters worldwide by TriStar Pictures and Spyglass Media Group. Here’s a synopsis:

“After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the infamous holiday.”

The cast for the holiday slasher movie includes Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks (“Walker”), Milo Manheim (Zombies), Nell Verlaque (“Big Shot”), Gina Gershon (“Chucky”), Tim Dillon and Rick Hoffman (Hostel).

Roth wrote the script with Jeff Rendell. Roger Birnbaum and Eli Roth are producing.
