Just when you thought Avatar: The Last Airbender board games couldn’t get any weirder, here comes Mr. Cabbage Merchant to prove you wrong! And with his signature catchphrase of “Oh, my cabbages!” to boot. Apparently, Hot Topic is now selling this Oh, My Cabbages! board game for mere $19.90.

Possibly the most iconic line in all of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

How to Destroy a Man’s Cabbages

Cabbages are yummy, and they have a really long shelf life too. Maybe that’s why in Oh, My Cabbages!, the Gaang apparently start their own line of cabbage stalls. They’re also competing with Mr. Cabbage Merchant though, and he isn’t happy to see competition. Especially from the very kids who keep ruining his business.

You mess with my cabbages, you get. The Stabbages.

Unfortunately, details are rather sparse for this latest Avatar: The Last Airbender board game, just like in the last one. All we have are the official details from Hot Topic, and they don’t give any specifics. Just a vague outline like this:

Take Aang, Katara, Zuko and even the cabbage merchant around the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender while starting new cabbage stands, mastering the elements, looting coins from your opponents and sending security platypus bears to shut down the competition. Play as your favorite character and build your very own cabbage empire. Everyone else will be yelling, “Oh, my cabbages!”

Other details include that Oh, My Cabbages is for kids ages 8 and up, which proves that cabbage selling isn’t all that difficult a job. Usually. The game is also for 2-6 players, and individual game sessions last 30-90 minutes. So it’s entirely plausible that the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender might go into cabbage selling. Maybe.

Conclusion

Avatar: The Last Airbender now has a new official board game: Oh, My Cabbages!, where players can repeatedly experience the unfortunate life of Mr. Cabbage Merchant. It may not be as entertaining an idea as Uncle Iroh’s Dream, but there’s bright side to it. At least this has at least 100% more cabbages.
