Overall Thoughts On The Royal Rumble
We’re now guaranteed to see Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 36. It was confirmed on Monday Night RAW. Also confirmed is that Edge’s first feud in his return will be with Randy Orton. In a fantastic segment, Orton destroyed Edge, without any cause or concern for Edge. Orton is at his best when he can be slightly unhinged and menacing. It’s also looking more and more likely that Charlotte will in fact be facing Rhea Ripley at Mania for the NXT Championship. Overall this event had some lower points, but it was a great starting point for the Road To Wrestlemania. The Smackdown women’s division is looking like the weakest link right now. Bayley needs to have a strong opponent for the show or risk fading into the background.
