A legend rises in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings this September. This new featurette for the upcoming Marvel Studios film goes deep into the destiny of our main character Shang-Chi. He’s played by Simu Liu, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he joins the Ten Rings organization. It also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. We’ve also got Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.
We have a keystone event at the start of this film, according to Kevin Feige. Tony Stark creating the Iron Man suit in the very first film, Iron Man, leads to the events of this film. Shang-Chi has to fight his familial destiny and forge his own path forward.
