Marvel is bringing out one of their most elusive heroes. According to Deadline, Marvel is teaming back up with Moon Knight writer Sabir Pirzada to write a project for Nova. For now, we don’t know if this’ll be a series on Disney+ or a movie. Kevin Feige will produce the project.

Richard Rider aka Nova first appeared in 1966 and is a member of the Nova Corps, seen in Guardians of the Galaxy. He gained superhuman abilities like enhanced strength, flight, and injury resistance. Importantly, he’s had previous run-ins with the Skrulls. The Skrulls, seen in Captain Marvel and the upcoming Secret Invasion, are integral to the future of the MCU. There’s no word on casting or any other details besides the writer and producer.

Pirzada came up through the writer’s room of Moon Knight, which premieres on Disney+ on March 30th.

We’ll keep you updated on this story as it develops.
