The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been in theaters for less than a week but is already generating massive buzz for Universal and Nintendo. The original song ‘Peaches’ from the film, sung by Bowser (voiced by Jack Black) could be submitted for best original song at the Academy Awards, and they’ve released the music video for the song.

The track features Bowser singing about his love of Princess Peach as he plays the piano. In the movie, the moment is interrupted by Bowser’s crony, Kamek. For fans searching for the full song, you’re in luck. Universal has uploaded the full music video on Twitter and on YouTube.

There’s no official word on if the song will be actually submitted for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards, but based on the song’s popularity, that’s a possibility. Similar songs like “Blame Canada” from South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut have been submitted in the past.

Over the five days that it’s been in theaters, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has made over $375 million at the global box office. It set records for a five-day opening with $204 million in ticket sales domestically. It’s setting records not just for animated films, but for any type of film at the box office.
