This cut fully realizes the vision that original screenwriters Mario Puzo and Coppola had for the film all along. The new version, titled Mario Puzo’s THE GODFATHER Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone, achieves the vision for the finale that we all deserve.
This isn’t just some shameless cash-grab for a new edit of the film. This provides an all new vision of the film. Take it from Coppola himself.

In addition to this new cut, you’ll be getting a fully remastered picture and sound. It’s shaping up to be the best version of this film. One that could possibly redeem it for the disappointing release back in the day.
You’ll be able to see it in select theaters, December 4th. It releases on digital and Blu-Ray on December 8th.
