Here’s the official synopsis from A24:
When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
Talk To Me serves as the debut feature from directors Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou. The Australian twins are known for their YouTube channel, RackaRacka. Danny Philippou also co-wrote the script for the film with Bill Hinzman. The film stars Sophie Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, Zoe Terakes, and Chris Alosi.
Talk To Me previously premiered at Sundance during the Midnight Selections lineup. Following its debut, A24 acquired the film.
The movie premieres in theaters July 28.
