He recently starred in the massive Tollywood hit RRR as the villain as well. His cause of death is undisclosed. The untimely news of his death was confirmed by his publicist.
He was filming the movie Cassino on Ischia in Italy. The Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported that he had been hospitalized on the island of Ischia.
He was a commanding presence in anything he starred in. If there was a movie coming out and Ray Stevenson was in it, you knew at the very least, that his performance would carry that movie.
