Another of Pantera‘s shows in Europe has been canceled after German promoters of Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals canceled on Pantera. Here’s the statement from Mind Over Matter Music:

“PANTERA concert on the 31st May 2023 at the Vienna Gasometer will be canceled.”

“All tickets can be returned where they were purchased.”

“Thank you for your understanding.”

The band was scheduled to play in Gasometer in Vienna, Austria on May 31st, but that show has now been canceled. There’s no reason given for this cancelation. The two German festival shows were canceled due to singer Phil Anselmo’s past comments and actions that were controversial and racist. You can read more about those cancelations and comments below.

That makes three shows now canceled for the “reunion” for Pantera that features Zakk Wylde on guitar and Charlie Benante on drums. They’ve been replaced on the Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park shows by the Foo Fighters.
