In a Facebook post, Metal Church confirmed rumors that they have indeed found a new lead singer to replace the late Mike Howe. Their new singer will be Marc Lopes formerly of Let Us Prey and Ross The Boss. The new singer joins a lineup featuring Kurdt Vanderhoof, Steve Unger, Rick Van Zandt, and Stet Howland.

It’s an exciting time for Metal Church, especially following the loss of their longtime singer. We’ll have to see how Marc Lopes sounds on the old material and new material from the band. Their official website promises a “new album, new singer, new tour, details coming Spring 2023”.
