The big news out of Star Wars Celebration 2022 keeps coming! We now know that Jude Law will soon head to a galaxy far, far away.
The actor will star in the upcoming series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The story will be set in the New Republic era and follows a group of kids lost in the galaxy, trying to find their way home.
The project comes from none other than Jon Watts, aka the director of Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy. Watts will reteam with Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Christopher Ford, who will write for the series.
Skeleton Crew will apparently begin filming this summer. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will executive produce. It will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in 2023.
Unfortunately – though not surprisingly – further details, including Law’s specific role, are being kept under wraps. We’ll just have to wait for more updates on this one!
