The arrival of Fast & Furious – Supercharged was a huge part of the revitalization that the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood underwent in the 2000’s and 2010’s. The attraction brought guests into the world of the Fast & Furious films in 3D. The last stop on the Studio Tour saw guests follow along a high speed chase to get one of their own back from an international crime cartel. It starred Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, and had some exquisite action.
Now the attraction is readying for one last ride on March 10th, 2025. It’s closing as part of the opening of Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. Hollywood Drift is a new roller coaster that launches in 2026. It sets a new precedent for the park as the first-ever, high-speed outdoor roller coaster. The space occupied by Supercharged will be changed for an exciting all-new Studio Tour attraction that’ll be announced soon.

What Else Is Going On At Universal Studios Hollywood?
Universal Studios Hollywood is bringing the best of fandom for an after-hours event at the park called Universal Fanfest Nights. The event runs from April 25-27; May 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18, 2025.
Universal Fan Fest Nights will feature all-new, uniquely curated experiences inspired by sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and anime. Guests can tap into their inner fandom to join forces with their favorite characters while sharing their enthusiasm with like-minded fans as they engage in cosplay with such renowned favorites as Star Trek, Back to the Future, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. Additionally, theme park favorites, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ will offer special additions and introduce character and interactive elements during Universal Fan Fest Nights.
