Get ready to dive into the life and mind of Pete Davidson. Peacock revealed a first look at the upcoming series Bupkis today, which features Davidson and co-star Joe Pesci.

Bupkis is described as a heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life. The half-hour comedy series will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known. Early reports draw comparisons to Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The series stars Oscar winner Pesci as Davidson’s grandfather, as well as Emmy winner Edie Falco as his mother.

Bupkis comes from showrunner, writer, and executive producer Judah Miller. Miller previously produced The King of Staten Island starring Davidson. Other EPs for the series include Lorne Michaels, Dave Sirius, Andrew Singer, Erin David, and Davidson himself. Jason Orley serves as director and co-executive producer.

Though a release date for Bupkis hasn’t been announced, Peacock revealed today that the show had officially entered production. So, check back to THS for more updates on Bupkis and other titles headed to Peacock.
