It might not be Superman, or Warcraft, but Warhammer 40K would make Henry Cavill the true King of the Nerds. According to THR, Cavill’s next move after being recast as Superman, is a Warhammer 40K series. For those that don’t know what Warhammer 40K is, it’s a miniature game from Games Workshop. The game has various factions including the Tyranids and Imperium of Man. The game is set 40,000 years into the future where Human civilization has stopped progressing and is at war with other races. Other factions include Necron, Orks, and the T’au.
The game is a miniature-based game that Cavill plays. However, this isn’t his next direct move after Superman. Sources say that Amazon has yet to officially close the deal, but it’s an expansion by Amazon. They previously moved into prestige streaming territory with Lord of the Rings: The Rings Of Power. This would be a similarly massive series for the streamer.
As the deal has yet to be closed, there aren’t any plot details, or a release timeline.
