Mel Brooks gave us one of the best gags in comedy history and set up the world for all the MCU post-credit scenes with History of the World Part 1. Now, that gag is finally paying off after over 40 years with History of the World Part II. The new event on Hulu will see four nights of comedy streaming on March 6th, 2023.
Each episode features a variety of sketches that take us through different periods of human history, just like the first film. Mel Brooks and David Stassen wrote it. Each episode has a rotating cast including Nick Kroll, Ike Barinholtz, Seth Rogen, Wandy Sykes, Dove Cameron, Johnny Knoxville, Pamela Adlon, Jake Johnson, and plenty of other comedic heavyweights.
We’ll have to see how the entire saga turns out and if we get a tease at History of the World Part III in 2039.
