Another day, another piece of Knives Out 2 casting news. Janelle Monae is joining heavy hitters like Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, and Daniel Craig in the Netflix made sequel. THR is reporting the news. Like we’ve said, the plot details are under wraps here. You can likely expect a murder mystery with a huge ensemble cast like the first.
Rian Johnson got a deal with Netflix for the two sequels to Knives Out for over $400 million. The film is set to shoot this summer in Greece.
Following this, Daniel Craig is returning as Benoit Blanc, the detective who solved the case in the first film. Janelle Monae was last seen in Antebellum and Amazon’s The Glorias.
